Customer Reviews

Fantastic. Loved the whole experience and our guide Willem also made the safari enjoyable. Hope in future to show our future kids the magic of the South African bush. - Ulane

The experience was great and Willem was super informative and did his best to make the drive and dinner a memorable evening - Joanne

My husband, cousin and I thoroughly enjoyed the Bush Braai dinner. It was marvellous to be collected from our holiday home and returned there afterwards. Our guide was a lovely chap, very friendly and accommodating. The game viewing was quite disappointing but that's how it goes. We did wonder why the route follows the power lines, which is extremely tedious if you aren't seeing much. I'm sorry I don't remember our guide's name, and this is in no way a criticism as everyone needs to gain experience, but when the game viewing was so quiet he could have talked more about birds, insects, plants etc. That aside, we were thrilled to arrive at the Boma and see what a wonderful set-up you have there! It was truly magical, made even more special by us being the only guests! I have been on a few bush dinners at both private lodges and Sanparks but your setting is up there with the best. The food was mostly very good and imaginatively presented. The only complaint we all had was the steak was very tough. The pieces were huge and we would all have preferred half the size but tender. Everything else was fine and we loved the Amarula shot and marshmallows, which were an unexpected bonus at the end of the meal. All in all, we really enjoyed the experience and will be happy to recommend it to our guests and friends. Thank you! - Janet

Our guests really enjoyed this experience, not just the drive on an OSV but all the sightings we had, from Lions to Hyaenas. The braai was just the Cherry on top, what a beautiful setup, the food was good the Staff (I think the chefs name was Tumi) were amazing, friendly and very helpful. Our guide, Dirk, was also very knowledgeable. - Heidi
